My Read theory Summarising

1. Learning Goal: We are learning to find the main idea of the text by:

• looking at the title
• Looking at the picture and
• Finding the Topic sentence in paragraph

SUCCESS CRITERIA

We can show our understanding of the text we are reading by summarising what we have read in our own words.

We can show our understanding of the text we are reading by answering the questions correctly

We can show our understanding of what we have done wrong by explaining what we should have done

Room 5 and I have been summarising read theory texts so we can get better at finding the main idea of the text.
