• Finding the Topic sentence in paragraphs

These are my Read theory summarising slides I use these slides so I can practise my summarising and so I can get better at finding the main ideas in the story.

My typing Test

Learning Goal: I am practising my typing so I can be
quicker and more accurate.

Success criteria: This will help me finish my work faster.

Monday

Today

My result for Monday is 82 WPM and today I got 83 WPM. I am getting better because I am practising on typing.com and also I am concentrating on what I am doing.

Solving math problems using different strategies

Learning Goal:  I am learning to Identify whether a question requires me to use the Year 6 'Part Unknown' strategy or the Year 6 'Whole Unknown' strategy.

Learning Goal: I am testing how quickly I can remember my Basic Facts.

Success criteria I need to remember my Basic Facts because they are the knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.

Monday

Today

My result for Monday is 37/40 and today I got 37/40. I am not getting better because I wasn't concentrating that much and the last two columns are very challenging. The column I need help with is Percentages, Fractions and Decimals. 

My times tables and division test

Learning Goal: I am testing how quickly I can remember my time's tables and division.

Success criteria I need to remember my time's tables and division because they are the knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.

Last week Thursday

Today

My timed result for last week Thursday is 100/100 and today I got 100/100. I am doing really well because I got all the questions right for my time's tables and division test. But I am not getting better because the time I took to do the test today was 3mins and 54secs but last week Thursday I took 3mins 33secs.

Solving Maths problems using different strategies

Learning Goal: I am learning to use the "Part Unknown" strategy to compare amounts.

These are my maths strategy practise slides. I used these slides so I can practise for my Gloss test which was yesterday and it turned really well I only got one question wrong because I didn't understand the question but I was above on two areas and just where I need to be on one area.

My result for Monday is 81 and my result for today is 83. I am getting better because I have practised on typing.com but not as much this week but at least I am getting better.

My result for last week Friday is 36/40 and my result for today is 34/40. I am not getting better because I haven't practised a lot because this whole week I was busy on I had kids for kids which was the whole day. The columns I need help with is percentages, fractions and decimals and factors and multiples.

I have been doing Read Theory texts so I can do very well on my Reading test and when I retell the story to My teacher I am gonna use my skills from Read Theory.

My WPM for Monday is 87 and My WPM for today is 90 . I am getting better because I have practised alot on typing.com .

My result for Last week Friday is 33/40 and today I got 36/40. I am getting better because I have practised a lot on studyladder. The columns I need help with is Percentages, Fractions and Decimals and Factors Multiples .
