I have read page 1-12 and this is what happen.Jake Jellicoe asked why his pa is crying and his Mum said that she is having a new baby . She said that she is going to sell one of her babies . But the Grandpa said no and Jake Jellicoe said that he will sneak out and grab everything he needs but he didn't tell anyone . When he was sneaking out his grandpa caught him and asked what is he doing and he said promised not to tell anyone that he is running away until he finds his fortune and the Grandpa said if he wasn't old he would've went with him but he didn't.
