I have read from page 35-48 and this is what happen .Jake Jellicoe went to the captain . When the captain met Jake he was asking him questions what he said "was are you strong , are you fast" but the captain didn't think he was strong because he was skinny . Then the captain said he has to read the rules and on one of the rules it said if any man stole from the captain or from the pirate crew they would be drowned in the water and be shot with a pistol . Then it said you have to eat one pound of bread or biscuits and one pound of beef . He said that it was more than his family ate in a year . Then he had to meet Saggers , Saggers was the person in charge when the captain wasn't there . After that he went and met the crew . Then the Captain made an announcement he said that they were going to look for the lost treasure of the Dread pirate Red beard.
