My Read theory Summarising

LEARNING GOALS

1. We are learning to find the main idea of the text by:

• looking at the title
• Looking at the picture and
• Finding the Topic sentence in paragraphs

SUCCESS CRITERIA

We can show our understanding of the text we are reading by
summarising what we have read in our own words.

We can show our understanding of the text we are reading by
answering the questions correctly

We can show our understanding of what we have done wrong
by explaining what we should have done

I have been doing Read Theory texts so I can do very well on my Reading test and when I retell the story to My teacher I am gonna use my skills from Read Theory.

My typing Test

Learning Goal: I am practising my typing so I can be
quicker and more accurate.

Success criteria: This will help me finish my work faster.

Monday

My WPM for Monday is 87 and My WPM for today is 90 . I am getting better because I have practised alot on typing.com .

My Basic Facts Test

Learning Goal: I am testing how quickly I can remember my Basic Facts.

Success criteria I need to remember my Basic Facts because they are the knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.

Last week Friday

Today

My result for Last week Friday is 33/40 and today I got 36/40. I am getting better because I have practised a lot on studyladder. The columns I need help with is Percentages, Fractions and Decimals and Factors Multiples .

My times tables and division test

Learning Goal: I am testing how quickly I can remember my time's tables and division.

Success criteria I need to remember my time's tables and division because they are the knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.

Last week Thursday

Today

My result for last week Thursday is 100/100 and today is 100/100. I am not getting better because the time I took to do the test last week was 3imns 33secs and today I did it in 3mins and 54secs but I am still doing really well because I have mastered all my time's tables.

My result for Last week Monday is 35/40 and my result for today is 33/40. I am not getting better because I have not practised a lot because I have had test this whole week. The columns I need help with is percentages, fractions and decimals and factors and multiples.

Room 5 and I have been summarising read theory texts so we can get better at finding the main idea of the text.
